As the youngest child of small business owners, a strong work ethic was instilled in Lisa at a young age, following her throughout her personal and professional life. Her first job, at age 14, was at Dock View Dairy. Upon graduation from Lewisburg Area High School, she was employed by the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, however, six months later she enrolled in college, graduating in 1983 from The Williamsport Area Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Management. Since then, Lisa’s professional career has included positions with two local banks, a non-profit early childhood education organization and a non-profit senior care organization. While in those positions, she developed skills and competency as a Human Resource professional, achieving the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional accreditation in 2016.
When not working, Lisa enjoys cooking, bicycling, kayaking, and spending time with her husband Scott; she also enjoys spending time with their children, Josh & his family who live in Snyder County and Katy & her family, who live in Northumberland County. They are blessed to be grandparents to four granddaughters and two grandsons.
